2018, Dir. Elliot Feld
KILLER KATE!
SYNOPSIS:
“Kate attends her estranged sister's bachelorette party at the request of their dying father. The weekend, held at a remote cabin booked on a home sharing app, turns into a savage life-or-death struggle that pits family against family, and past against present.”
APPROACH:
The approach with the filmmaking and as well as the score was essentially a love letter to the John Carpenter and Sam Raimi movies that the Elliot and I grew up watching in the middle of the night. Using instrumentation of the era with more modern harmonic ideas gives it a fun, nostaligic, yet cool, fresh vibe throughout.
